For its fifth consecutive year, the "Open-Air Film Festival" is taking a new step in its visual and artistic identity. While previous editions offered an eclectic selection, Jennifer VIALET and her association have chosen this year to take you on a unique thematic adventure: Travel.
An invitation to a motionless escape
From August 5 to 7, each evening from 6 p.m. to midnight, the lawn of Parc Monceau will no longer be just a Parisian garden, but a window open to the world. The choice of travel as a guiding theme is not insignificant: it echoes the very nature of auteur cinema, which invites us to leave our certainties behind to explore distant horizons, whether geographical or internal.
A program carved with care
To offer a high-quality filmographic resource, the team analyzed many works to select only ten films that will make up the final lineup. This rigorous selection aims to:
Sublimate auteur film: By highlighting directors who use the camera as a road book.
Harmonize the experience: So that each evening is a consistent stopover within a great cinematographic journey.
Reach a wide audience: By offering universal stories that speak of discovery and self-improvement.
Digital and local influence
Because the notoriety of the festival is growing, we are committed to communicating this passion to as many people as possible. Thanks to the support of our historic partners — the City of Paris, the Île-de-France Region and France Télévisions — this journey will be relayed on all digital platforms to raise awareness among future spectators about the magic of open-air screenings.
Our new website, with its carefully designed graphic charter, has been thought out to be your first travel guide even before the park gates open.
